10 on 10 – December 2015

Welcome to the last 10 on 10 Photography Circle for 2015. How’s your December truckin’ along? Busy busy busy hey?! I hear ya! But soon it will be holidays and routines go out the window and we can relaaaaaaax! Yay!

I’m really looking forward to spending time with my boys. Big one too when harvest is finished. About 3 weeks ago I managed to go on a lunch date with my cheeky 5 year old Will. We were lucky enough to be invited to the Olympus Photography Workshop with Fat Mum Slim and Sesame Ellis at The Shorehouse over looking Swanbourne Beach in WA. Lovely location!! It was soooooo freakishly hot but it was so much fun meeting new friends and discovering Will loves taking photos as much as I do, over 200 for his first effort! I think Santa will catch onto this great new hobby he’s discovered. Exciting!

So here’s some photo’s taken by my guest photographer Will 🙂

The kids were encouraged to take a photo of their Mum. Rather than us be critical of photos of ourself we were reminded we are picture perfect to our kids every time.

Will was quite taken with this little cutie! Half of his photos are of her. Such a little darling!

And seeing as it’s Christmas, here’s a few more!!

Rachel (Sesame Ellis), me and Chantelle (Fat Mum Slim) - You'd never guess how hot the weather was i this shot. We were smoking hot for the picture mind you, LOL!

It was such an awesome day! It made me realise I need to go on dates with my boys more often and to keep on encouraging Will to enjoy photography. On the walk back to our car Will decided he wanted to live on the beach so he could eat at The Shorehouse every morning and he would become a photographer. Nice work!! I’d be ok with that!! haha! Better get cracking polishing those new found skills.

Now don’t forget to click here on lovely Sam’s post. I wonder what photos she has planned? I talk to her everyday so it seems hilarious we never asked each other about this. Haha! Then follow the links til your back to me. Awesome!

Santa may be coming in with the goods for my daughter on the camera front too. How much fun is it!! Your boy takes a marvellous pic Jo!! What a great spot to take pics. I love the yellow umbrellas at the start.

Thanks so much Elisha! Oh exciting your daughter likes photography too 🙂 I’ll have to get Will an album and print regularly to keep the interest up!It really was a great spot. This beach is normally known as a nudist beach. They must of showed them further down the coast we didn’t see any. Would of made a great topic change to all the photographers madly snapping away x

It really is awesome to have a little buddy to share a hobby with, I love it! We do get some pretty cool bloggy gigs in Australia. Perth gets a feW but I’d say Sydney and Brisbane get all the big events – 4 to 5hr flight away! Buggar!!

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year Jen xx

Haha! Thanks Steph! It was such an awesome day and I forgot to mention the food!! Absolutely stunning!! There was just no wine, probably for the best 😉 I used to be sad I’d miss out on Mummy/daughter pamper days having all boys but then I was reminded of Mummy/son dates. One on one time to remember. This sure was one to remember xx
