My interview with Cookie Monster

Blogging without a doubt has landed me some very cool pinch me moments and this sure is one of them!! It was an absolute treat to chat to a well loved household known character from not only my childhood years but from my own kids too. Funny enough before the phone interview I had to check if I was talking to THE very Cookie Monster – not just the man behind the lovable character and I was assured 100% OF COURSE!! LOL! I think that’s when I started to blush and the interview kicked off from there….

——————————————————

The 46th season of Sesame Street with Cookie Monster, Elmo and the entire gang premiers on April 3rd with The Cookie Thief special, followed by new episodes every weekday morning on ABC KIDS at 9am and 12 noon.

 ——————————————————

Sesame Street gangInsert swoon and crazy dance! What a sweetheart!! Be sure not to miss the season premier this Sunday, APRIL 3rd at 5PM to see the gang along with some of Cookie Monster’s favourite choc chip cookies.

I discovered this recipe recently and they are #nomnomnom! I even had one just before I had my little chat with Cookie Monster. Now I can’t help but smile everytime I scoff one thinking about my sweet new friend 🙂 The recipe is amazing AND you can freeze them. Best organised Mum hack I know!! Enjoy the show!! We love you Cookie Monster!!!

** Many thanks to Cookie Monster, Tamara and the Sesame Street productions for making this interview possible. #cantstopsmilingsesame street logo

Awesome work Jo – he sounds adorable! I’d be a giggling mess chatting to him. With all this talk of tim tam slams, quokkas, kangaroos and Sia, Cookie sounds practically like an honorary Australian! My tornadoes are looking forward to watching The Cookie Thief special tonight (as am I!) xx

Thanks Tash!! I couldn’t believe Cookie Monster knew all about the quokkas! I hope to get him out this way on his next visit!! A tour guide I can be 🙂 Glad you loved The Cookie Thief – wasn’t it the cutest!! My kids couldn’t stop talking about it later, Daddy got the whole story – so cute! xx

Hahahaha I beyond love this!!! Probably one of the coolest interviews a person can do! Channing Tatum is the only person who could top this lol xx

Oh Emma-Louise!! Thank you!! You’ve made my day! It was pretty surreal but loads of fun too. I will keep that noted – Channing Tatum for the win, although I doubt I could even TALK if that was possible!! LOL! xx
