Newsflash!! – 3 year old eats all his dinner!

No, that wasn’t a misprint! You read it right…my 3 year old now eats ALL his dinner. After what seems years and years of long sessions at the dinner table pleading with this moody threenager to eat his dinner, he’s finally done it! By George he’s done it! I’m in a state of shock, I cannot tell you how relieved we’ve finally mastered this milestone. I wouldn’t say my little monkey is maturing hence the reason why he’s started eating all his dinner. No No! Today’s embarrassing tantrums at Coles confirmed we are still very much into those and enjoying the delights of being 3.  (Face palms and a jam donut got me through that pain)!!

I can confirm we’ve had a real game changer in this house and that’s thanks to discovering a gorgeous online gift store Finlee & Me. It has uber cool baby and kid products that totally has me at hello! My boys were very lucky to be sent a gift from Finlee & Me’s Angela to review – these fancy looking Fred Dinner Winner plates. Isn’t she a darling!

Cast your mind back to Mary Poppins cleaning Jane and Michael’s nursery. She made it a game and hence they all had so much fun. Turns out, eating dinner normally is just no fun for a threenager, it needs to be a game too. So we gave these cute plates a test drive and these pics are from the first night.

"I did it Mummy! I get my after dinner treat!" Yay!

“I did it Mummy! I get my after dinner treat!” Yay!

I am thrilled to report, this wasn’t just a one night only event. Dinner gets eaten EVERY night now thanks to these amazing dinner plates. You can totally reward your kids with a healthy option too, I like to mix it up each night. Whatever works! And because my threenager eats all his dinner, he has now started sleeping though the night, instead of waking up in the night still hungry. OMG! Now that is something to cheer about! When I bump in Angela at the Pro-Blogger event next week, I’m pretty sure I’ll be giving her an emotional thank you for changing our family dinners into winners! Hooray! But dramatics aside – these plates are the business! They ROCK!

They retail at $29.95 but lucky YHUAH readers are in for a treat. This month you can WIN one of these awesome dinner plates for sharing your best service story on the AAA Meeting posts and a winner will be chosen at the end of the month. If you can’t wait that long and need help with your family dinners immediately, you can purchase one at Finlee & Me – Fred Dinner Winner Plate and use the discount code HELLO to receive 10% off. Be sure to look around the Finlee & Me store, there’s some quality children toys and products to discover. These plates would make an awesome present, something different too! A great online store to keep in mind with Christmas not too far away either 😉

Winner winner chicken dinner. Well sausage dinner in this case. Great success. I wish they were as successful in our house. We still keep trying. Ari just tries to hit up that last box, just to “see” what is under it. They are a very clever idea.

Isn’t it Steph! Especially when you’ve made dinner and even that was an effort in itself. Haha! “This is not a restaurant” We must remember that 😉 ps. I think Farmer secretly likes his pj’s too xx

What fabulous plates I might have to get one for my 6 year old who has made the pain of eating dinner into an art form at the moment! Loving the PJ’s x

    • Reply Jo August 8, 2015 at 9:39 pm

They’re heaps of fun Vicki and broken down into steps makes eating it all not such a huge task. Let me know how ya go 😉 The pjs are adorable on my biggest kid of all lol! x

Fantastic! Anything that gets kids to eat their dinner is a winner in my book! If our youngest is going to be anything like his older brother in the fussy eater department, I’d better go out and buy one of these quick smart 🙂

    • Reply Jo August 10, 2015 at 8:57 pm

They are winner plates every night Emma. I’m so thrilled with them! 🙂
